A fresh new start.

Filmati, documenti, download pari a 16 gigabites e 14.000 files.

Updates Related to COVID Rules for the 177 East 77th Street Avenue Condominium in Light of the CDC’s Recent Guidelines for Vaccinated Individuals to Go Maskless Outdoors / When in Uncrowded Spaces

The Board of Managers has reviewed and considered the CDC’s updated guidance regarding the ability of fully vaccinated people to go maskless in most places.

With that noted, the purpose of this communication is to provide all Unit Owners and residents with certain reminders affecting the continuing requirements for mask wearing and other COVID restrictions and procedures within the common areas of the building.

First, the CDC’s advisory does not supersede local regulations, including those set by New York City and New York State which have been imposed upon all New Yorkers, including the Condominium.

Second, along these lines, because there is no formal/building-wide process in place to check the vaccination status of residents, guests and service workers who have business in the building, there is no way to truly know who is vaccinated and who is not.

Accordingly, the masking and social distancing policies enacted by the Condominium last year continue to require full participation.  These requirements are meant to protect those who are unvaccinated and for those who may otherwise still have an elevated exposure to the virus.  As such, the Board is not yet prepared to fully relax the policies employed to continue to protect building residents, staff, and visitors.

Therefore, for everyone’s benefit and safety, for the time being, the Board and management is continuing the masking requirements for all while in the common areas of the building.   In addition, the elevator-related social distancing requirements continues as well.

Needless to say, we are all eager to resume normal life, and are expecting more specific guidance and best practices from the State and City governments to follow in light of the CDC’s actions and presume this will include some loosening of the current regulations.    When this occurs, we will make you aware of whatever changes can be implemented as soon as practical.  Until then, we ask for your continued patience and cooperation at this time as we await these developments.

Finally, we also encourage all who have not yet done so to avail themselves of the ability to become vaccinated so we may all “return to normal”.

Board of Managers,
