Il termine è orrendo, ma fa parte del bagaglio di roba inventata perchè c’è Internet. Ho partecipato ad una discussione in cui un amico Americano ha definito “Dick” il suo presidente. OK, non è elegante, ma quell’uomo è esasperato, avere un presidente gretto come il Donald è davvero dura da digerire. E’ intervenuto un Troll, ossia una di quelle persone che intervengono sostenendo tesi assurde solo per esasperare gli animi o rompere le scatole. Lo faccio anch’io ogni tanto ma in modo così esasperato che il mio intento è palese e si dovrebbe capire istantaneamente che cerco solo di fa sorridere.
Segue un estratto della trascrizione dello scambio di opinioni, lo conservo a futura memoria; indipendentemente dalle intenzioni mie e dei trolls, mai più interagire con un vero o presunto supporter di Trump. Ho tolto il suo nome e sostituito con Trinariciute, altra parola inventata ma mi sembrava adatta. Ho eliminato molti commenti intermedi, altrimenti saturavo lo spazio di WordPress. Ecco la sintesi.

Dopo diversi scambi nei quali gli dico che il livello culturale del suo presidente mi sembra molto basso e che sono preoccupato, il tizio scopre che sono Italiano. Apriti cielo.

Cos’è il rosatellum ? Ho sfogliato il mio vocabolario di latino ma non ho trovato traccia.
Ma davvero si è firmato Trinariciute? Se sì, saprà che cosa significa e chi lo ha inventato?
NO, ho sostituito il suo vero nome e cognome, non si sa mai e Trinariciute mi sembrava indicato. Dio che spavento, ma sai che ho fatto fatica a prendere sonno ? Chi ha votato Trump è davvero come Trump. Quest’uomo di età matura, probabilmente benestante, perde le staffe e risponde come un bambino se qualcuno osa mettere in dubbio le capacità del suo idolo-presidente. E non l’ho mica insultato. Ha lo stesso schema mentale di Fox News e della massa non-pensante del peggior strato red-neck repubblicano. Non sono tutti così, ne ho conosciuti di ottimi, magari non condividendo le loro idee ma gente per bene, orientata e razionale, e benchè con loro non abbia mai toccato l’argomento da quando è stato eletto (non oso come loro non mi hanno mai chiesto di Berlusconi almeno fino a quando è stato deposto), sospetto che siano un pochino imbarazzati dalla figura di Trump. Ma questo tizio ! Ed ho seguito una conversazione sulla guerra che alcuni stanno facendo contro Cristofoto Colombo in USA di questi tempi. Ho letto commenti davvero di una grettezza ed ignoranza abissale, non entro nel merito (non me ne potrebbe fregare più di zero) ma santo, santo cielo. Ho sempre sospettato che negli USA ci fosse tanta gente così, ma ora sono saltati tutti fuori.
Hai fatto benissimo a battezzarlo così; si tratta proprio del carattere che intendeva Guareschi. Fanno paura anche a me; sembrano una setta, fanatici, ciechi e sordi alla realtà, assolutamente irrazionali, negati a ogni ragionamento logico, ignoranti come tacchi. E non sono solo negli Usa Stefano…Gli stessi identici comportamenti (e commenti) li trovi da qualche anno a questa parte anche in Italia (e in Europa in genere) sui social. Cambia la lingua, il nome del loro “mito” politico, ma i ragionamenti e le parole sono esattamente le stesse. Probabilmente sono sempre esistiti, solo che prima si sfogavano in piazza dopo la messa o nei bar. Ora l’uso dei social network ha permesso loro di scrivere i loro deliri, renderli pubblici a centinaia, migliaia di persone. E la cosa terribile è che non lo fanno solo per la politica, ma anche per la medicina e la scienza. Se un giorno ci incontreremo, ti mostrerò esempi terrorizzanti. Ovviamente capisco e condivido esattamente quello che dici. Bell’articolo. Lo faccio mio soprattutto perchè anch’io posseggo il circuito neuronale che mi spingerebbe a commentare precipitevolissimevolmente dimenticando la prudenza, il tatto e la consapevolezza di poter dire cose altamente smentibili. Da questo punto di vista i miei primi contatti con un forum e con i partecipanti – tutta roba meteo – mi sono serviti tantissimo. Ho imparato ad isolare quel temibile circuito neuronale, contare fino a dieci prima di commentare, separare le mie convinzioni dalla mia specifica competenza, usare spessissimo termini umili come “io credo che”o ” se non sbaglio” togliendo il più possibile quell’aurea di lapidario ed assoluto che tendenzialmente si ha quando si vuole animatamente sostenere una tesi pensando di conoscere l’argomento. Saprai che è difficile non cadere nella serie di errori di cui si parla nell’articolo…
Vero, è difficilissimo. Ma basta un poco di educazione , di buon senso e raziocinio per frenarsi e riflettere. Purtroppo son merci sempre più rare a trovarsi sul mercato; bandito ogni scrupolo, oggi si agisce con la trippa più che col cervello. Quello che mi fa più paura è la rabbia violenta; ogni frustrazione personale si concentra su altre cose. E’ molto triste, e pericoloso.
